Dutch Rheological Society
The Dutch Rheological Society was founded 22-June 1951, preceeded by the Committee on Viscosity of the Academy of Sciences at Amsterdam, founded in 1932. The NRV is a section of the `Bond voor Materialenkennis'.
The NRV is a non-profit organisation. The present board strives to increase the membership and presence at the biannual meetings by offering low prices for both membership (Euro 7,- per year) and meetings, especially for students (Euro 5,- per meeting).
